Windows 8 Elevated Command Prompt

The GUI for Windows 8 has changed significantly. In addition, it has changed the way you run an application. Here are the steps to run the elevated command prompt:

  1. Press Windows key.
  2. Type cmd.
  3. Right-click on Command Prompt and click on Run as administrator at the bottom.
  4. Click on Yes.
